Default Help with ski mount.

My neighbor brought me a box of rc parts that he bought for me at a garage sale for $2. These ski's were in the box. I'm not sure how to mount them. I know they need a spring to keep the tips up.
Thanks, Dustin

Default RE: Help with ski mount.

The spring is the small wire that you have . What you are missing is the piece that goes on top of the ski that has a hole for the axle & a small hole through the side of it for the small spring . That is held onto the axle by a set screw .
You could just modify it & put a cable from the front of the ski to the landing gear strut & a rubber band on the back of the ski to the strut to hold the ski front end up a little . Hope you follow this ? Max H. (In snow country)
