How do you get a skybolt to flat spin better
I heard that this skybolt is suppose to flat spin good. I went up high and did a half loop. Then I stuck the sticks to the antenna. It went into an inverted flat spin, but it was not as level as I would have liked it to be. Do I need more evelator throw. My CG is as back as Great planes recomends.

Bring the ailerons back toward centre, maybe even past centre (depends on the plane). Takes some experimenting to find the "sweet spot".
Adding throttle or entering with a little speed can also flatten it out. Make sure of the strength of you plane, check everything often, especially for stress cracks, this is a more violent maneuvre than you might think.....

Lots of elevator and rudder. BUT it's not a fun fly. It wont sit there and spin in one spot. It will fall somewhat.

move the cg back a little more.......move it back as far as you can so that basic level flight is still managable and to YOUR liking.

The rudder was about to touch. I will keep trying with more elevator and then try to nuetralize the aielerons.

Get up high and spin. Move ailerons across at a steady rate till you find the sweet spot as Jim says. Some planes will pop out of it if to far. If it still doesnt do it move the CG back a bit at a time till it does.
