Lithium Rx Battery help
So I've gotten rid of most of my glow planes and now have 3 gassers, and am tired of these brick type sub-c nimh batteries
and the extra weight, and I can't seem to find a comprehensive article about using Li-Ion or A123 packs for my Rx.
I'd like to switch, but wonder if anyone could give me a simple breakdown of what a 2,xxx mah battery, 6v regulator would cost,
and where to buy one?
Thanks

Thanks guys, looks like I've got some reading to do!
So the 2s 2100 mah battery with the regulator will work as a flight pack for 5 digital high torque servos?

In my 50cc planes....
1 Fromeco 2600mAh LiIon pack - to a switch - to a regulator -to the RX...

for a 50cc gasser I wanted to go a123 but after talking to bob at rcaerobats, it seems
a bit involved. so I could just get a 2600 li-ion and a regulator and I'm good?
That doesn't seem to hard - I'm pretty confused - can it be that simple?

I use the 2300mah 123 packs, and you don't need a regulator.fly all weekend on one charge or two.
