Default Wing Tube

Hey Guy's,
Where's the cheapest place to buy a replacement wing tube for my 33% Laser 200......It's 1 1/2" in Diameter and 3 foot long and around 1/32" wall thickness.
I have put some serious scratches in it from my retention set screws and I'm sure they will weaken the tube.
Thanks, Bob

I'd go to www.mcmaster.com they have 1.5"OD 6061 aluminum tubing in .035,.049 and .065 wall thickness. It's available in 3 ft and 6 ft lengths. Price range is 23-33 dollars for a 6ft length. They also have great price on hardware.

Default Wing Tube

Found the large selection of T6/6061 tubing...

What and where would one find phenolic, fiberglass, or paper sleeves for the wing tubes (cheap, industrial source along same lines as McMaster)?

McMaster doesn't seem to have them. They do have fiberglass tubes but wall thicknesses are 1/8" or greater. Looking for something closer to 1/16".

Regards,
-E

Tubing is listed under general purpose aluminum tubing,6061 temper is t6
Part # 89965k731 .035 wall
# 89965k561 .049 wall
# 89965k751 .065 wall

The .049 wall is the standard thickness used for most 35% scale kits.
