Default can i replace my 7.2 volt battery to a 8.4 volt ?

I have a 3 ch sky wizard from wattage it takes a 7.2 volt battery can I use a 8.4 volt that came in a t-hawk 3 ch from toytronix?

Yes you can, but you're going to reduce the motor life. Can't say by how much though.

it won't reduce it by that much, and who cares? most hoby motors are manufactured by mabuchi. if you get the "genuine replacement parts" it will cost more. but if you order it from a distributor of mabuchi engines it probably won't cost more than 10 bucks
