I have a OS 1.4 two stroke in an Olympian pattern plane that
I can't keep the silicon connectors on in the flex joint as the
engine, header pipe moves to much sideways with the Hyde
engine mount. Is this a problem because the Hyde mount is to
flexable? Yes I do have a nose ring that is snug. Looking for
helpful suggestions.

Hi, which system are you using.....I'm using the Hyde mount ARI with the nose ring and don't have a problem.

Are you using the Hatori connecter? or a silicone connector?

My system is the OS header that is connected to the floor with a flexible system, Silicone connector with Tie wrape (2), ES pipe that is mounted at the end again with a flexible system.

my problem may be that my home made header is to long, it
is about 4" long and then is connected to a 4" center piece,
then to the aluminum muffler (can't remember the brand) all
of which I used the thick blue silicone tubing with metal clamps.
The silicone seems to get burned and then breaks.

Well they is no way for me to know which tubing you are talking about, unless you have the comapgny name or a picture of it....I would suspect that if you burn it in let say less then 50 Flights, you are not using the right stuff...I use either the Cream color one from Aerotrend,,,they also sell a bleu one for exhaust system. The metal clamp are they the hose type?? if so be carefull not to bend the pipe easily done with those.....

I mounted my Hatori Pipe directly to the Wing, and aligned the header and coupler so when the Wing plugs in the Header seats in the coupler. If you want a Picture I'll post it. It's a YS 120 hook up but you'll know what to look for.
