A123's and futaba receiver with hitec 5645mg servos
Can anyone tell me if I can use a 2 cell A123 pack on a Futaba R149DP receiver and use Hitec 5645 MG servos with out a voltage regulator? I thought about using a regulator just incase. Or let me know where I can find some information on the compatibility of the batteries with receivers etc.
thanks

RE: A123's and futaba receiver with hitec 5645mg servos
I am not familiar with an A123 battery..so bear with me...the most you want to use on a receiver is 6 volts...we all know that a 6 volt battery fully charged is more than 6 volts,,,so does the receiver manufacturer....if the A123 battery is rated above 6 volts use a voltage regulator.....no need to fry a receiver
