OS MAX .61 SFN R/C Heli Engine be used for RC Airplanes?
Hello guys:
I have a question, I have a new in the box OS MAX .61 SFN R/C Heli Engine that I want to put on a sport RC airplane. Will this engine work on my airplane??? Should I sell it and a new .61 FX?
The engine block is identical to that of a .61 FSR. The shaft is long enough to put a prop on. The only thing is the cylinder head is much larger than that of a standard round head.
I did find out that this is a short stroke motor so it will RPM higher with less torque so I will have to put a smaller prop. I am not exactly sure which one to use but I have bunch of props to test.
thanks Alan
