TT Pro 46 muffler bolt size
I am looking to order some more muffler bolts for my TT Pro 46 engine. The existing muffler bols have the heads stripped out and I can no longer tighten them enough to keep the muffler on for more then a couple of minutes. I have found the bolts on another website as 3X40 cap head screws. My question is are these bolts from McMaster Carr the same thread type etc... http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/115/3085/=2h2xxa Also, it is part # 91290A136 on McMaster Carr. I am not 100% sure on the thread pitch etc... Will these work on the engine to keep my muffler bolted on?

While I can't tell you if they are the same, I can tell you that you should go to a hardware store and test if M3 bolts will fit your muffler's threads. You don't need the right length for testing, and if they work, go ahead. But since all M3 bolts are the same (I think) you need not worry about the pitch.

RE: TT Pro 46 muffler bolt size
Thanks for the inside everyone. I have an Ace hardware down the road, I will start there and see what they have. In the past I have struggled to find RC sized screws, nuts, bolts, etc... at some of the hardware and box stores. I will give it another try before I attempt to order online. Thanks again.
