Getting back in the game.....
Have been out of the hobby for over 4 years, want to get back in it. My questions are numerous, so I'll start with these:
1) My radios are Futaba 9 and 10 ch with the adjustable frequency modules. I'm assuming these are still okay to fly with, of course I'll need new batteries. Is it worth getting any of the new FHSS sets? What's the difference?
2)I've looked at some of the ARF's at the local Hobby People, and the quality seems to have gone up considerably. Any thoughts on the VQ models?
3) I'm starting back with the high wing trainer and the local club instructors, and updating my AMA membership. Anything else I should do?
4) 2S engine technology doesn't seemed to have changed, except the prices are higher. Most of my engines have been stored in plastic bags with run oil, so I should be able to get these going again.
I tried looking at some of the forums, but it would take me another 4 years!! Thanks ahead of time!
