I'm looking for some tiny wire crimps for pull pull cable. The ones that came with my DP Edge are made of tiny little copper tubing, about 1/16th of an inch in diameter or so.
I can't find any at the hardware store, home depot, electrical supply house, etc.
What can I do or use for this purpose? Thanks.

Go to a sporting goods store and check out the fishing supplies area. There are many sizes of ferruls (spelling???) available and work well.

I use "nyrods",,,,no soldering,,, VERY simple to thread in a stud and use your favorite connector !

As the above thread says, "Sporting Goods Store", in the fishing section or to drill a little deeper look in the salt water gear. Berkly has some very nice plastic coated stainless leader and right along with it they sell the matching connector sleeves. Make sure you match the sleeves with the leader size. I use the 30 lb stuff. very nice looking and easy to use. One other tip: When you crimp down on the sleeves to lock the cable do not crimp too hard, if you do it will cut the cable strands decreasing the tension strength of the cable, use just enough pressure to flatten it. Try the crimping pressure on a short piece to get a feel for it.

Conversely, you could forget about using braided wire for pull-pulls and use kevlar. Lighter, won't stretch, stronger than the airplane that it is used on, and you tie knots in it to terminate it. Once you tie the knot and are sure it is in the right place, lock it with a drop of thin CA. I have Kevlar Pull-pulls that are 4 years old. No prob.

Sullivan makes a Kevlar Pullpull linkage set, available at your LHS.

Oh, and throw away the pieces of 2-56 stud with a tiny sharp-edged hole that they give you with the wire pull-pulls. Get 2-56 eyebolts. These are also Sullivan (or Dubro), and also available at your LHS.

I see the anglers are getting ripped off just as bad as us! $21.95 for a couple pennies worth of brass and thirty bucks for a piece of cable.

I don't know what size your models are, but for the ordinary F/F model - them things suppied in the kits ain't nuttin' special. They are just short pieces of brass or copper tubing. Just go to your local hobby shop and buy a 12" length of 1/16" diameter SOFT brass or copper tubing. Then cut it into short pieces about 3/8" long (I use an ordinary No. 11 model knife blade) and debur the insides AND outsides of all the ends with a sharp modeling knife - No. 11 blade again. Then use these pieces just like the pieces supplied with the kit - they are usually the exact same things as supplied with the kits.

Be SURE that you DOUBLE-insert the pull-pull wire thru each tube before you finally crimp the tubing. Of course if your model is bigger than a .40 or .60 size, and your control cables are larger will fit inside 1/16" O.D. tubing, you may want to go to slightly larger diameter tubing

- Been doing this for over five years on my .40 profile F/F models now and never had a failure.

Thanks fellas for all the help. The local hobby shop doesn't have copper tubing or anything else the right size. Local sporting goods store, and Walmart don't have the fishing tackle that was pictured, but I'm sure I can find a fishing tackle shop that has it. Thanks again for the help fellas.

Sevenstrand is another good brand of leader and ferules. A package of 30 and several yards of 30# leader should be under $6. Do a search for salt water tackle on Google and you should find several mail-order suppliers.

If you use copper tubing - remember that it does not like nitro - so remember to do regular checks on your rig!

Tower hobbies sells control cables and the crimps made by proctor. The cable is fine for .60 size or smaller applications.

I use that same Berkely line and #3 crimps that Turbines shows for my scale antenas and radio lines. works great and for $5 you can get the spool of line and crimps. I usually cut the crimps in half or into 3 to make them shorter....afterall no strength is need and they look pretty scale.

I use 12 inch long sticks of brass, aluminum, or copper out of the K S Tubing assortment at the hobby shop.
Lay the 12 inch long stick on a hard counter and rest the cutting edge of a single edge razor blade where you want the cut. Use a rolling motion with the razor blade over the stock. It makes a perfect tubing cutter and cuts amazingly fast.
Nice, smooth, even cuts for crimps or fuel tank set up in only seconds.
