Emblem placement on P-51
I am scratch building a P-51 and I need to know the placement of the star emblem on the wing. I know the placement behing the cockpit. I am not sure which side of the wing and if they go on the top and bottom of the wing surface. This project is going well but the devil is in the details. Thanks.

wing emblem is always on the left.....turn the plane over and it's still on the left.....if your emblem has a red stripe through the "bar" then it is an emblem after 1947.....if it has a red stripe on the outside of the emblem then it is latter part of 43
