Default 2.4 transmitter

Can you use a buddy box and trainer cord with a 2.4 transmitter?

I have a new Futaba Transmitter and an older Futaba buddy box with a round plug and cord, will this set up work?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know about Futaba (never owned one), It works with JR and Spektrum. 2.4 transmitters are the same as earley transmitters in the encoding only the output side is different.

Cheers

Yes it will work fine just have to activate the trainer option to make it active on both radios. Good luck

If whatever your older Futaba is has a round plug and the newer futaba has a square plug then be carefull when ordering that you order the round to square plug.
