seagull extra 260 180sized
I bought this kit..was planning on dropping a supertigre 2500 (1.45 ci) in the plane...its barely under what it calls for in a 2 stroke (1.6) think it will fly it ok? I'm not expecting to high-alpha 3-D it.

I fly with two guys with that plane and both went to the CRRP 2.4 gas engine. I run one of the STG-20s in a big ARF, that's a 2300 and it pulls very well but wait until you get the fuel bill. These engines have never met a can of fuel they didn't fall in love with. Gas would be a better way to go and there are some pretty nice running engines from China that are very cheap. Just a thought.

I have a Extra 260 from cermark, about the same wing span and weight.
my 260 weighs in at 12.4 without fuel.
Im useing a spec 26cc with a bigger bore walbro carb and it hauls if you want it too
however i beleive a 27 to 30 cc might be a better choice if your into 3D stuff,me? naa
im just the average sunday flyer.Personaly i would like to see you put a gas engine in it.
Your gonna love that plane, dang they fly great.
Good luck let us know how it flys for ya.Nice choice for a plane.
