Default Help with illusions - micro telemaster

My friend built a micro telemaster, but used all yellow material and now we are having a hard time telling which way the aircraft is pointing sometimes. To make matters worse, the material is see though, so it can really appear to be going one way when you think it is going another. The visual illusion occurs when it is almost at a profile view and slightly moving away or towards you. It is almost impossible to tell which way it is facing and if you need to bank left or right. What modifications could we make to improve the visual or help reduce the illusion without adding a lot of weight? We were thinking of adding black tape to the wing tips, or underneath the wings for reference. Help! Thanks!

Yes, adding a band of color will help a lot. But make it wide! A narrow stripe will still be difficult to see. On a Micro Tele, I'd say a band of contrasting color 2 - 4" on the bottom of the wing wide would work
