I would say...if you're looking for a 26.... just give the DLE 30 a shot. Fliers seem to be very happy with it an it isnt expensive.

What plane are you thinking of trying a gasser in?

Hobby City has a 26cc gas engine for next to nothing. I've seen a couple at the field and I'm amazed how well they run. There is a trade-off of support and other things for the low price of course.

Actually I just looked ta Hobby city and they have 3 26cc gassers for under $150.

I agree with Chuck, two of the 26cc Turnigys and three of the 52cc Turnigys are flying at my field now and all are delighted with them. True parts and product support is likely non existant but then at near a third of the price who cares?

I believe the displacement of a 30CC gasser is equivalent to about a 1.8 cubic inch motor, but you need to cut that by about 1.5 for the equiv power. Meaning 1.8 CI down to 1.2 CI 2 Stroke Glow. Of course, this is different than 4stroke.
Hope that helps,
Curtis

Just received a very nice looking AGM 30cc. Gas. engine. Delivered to my door. for $179.99 It included a real RC excel elec. ignition, a genuine steel Walbro Carb with Automatic Choke, (allegedly designed for this engine) a polished alum. muffler, all standoffs & bolts. It has the same specs. as a DLE-30 Bore & Stroke 36mmX30mm 3.7H.P./8500rpm. Delivered 3 days after placing order! But don't expect some fancy box but for that price & seemingly outstanding quality & service seems like a no Brainer!!! will follow up with a run of the engine review. Very Impressive AGM!!!
