Default OS. timing

There are two timing marks you need to find ,one is on the thrust washer ,a small + mark. Turn crank to put the mark at 12:00.The cam shaft has a small dot on the side, when it is installed the book says it will be at 6:00. I think it should line up with the push rod housings. The lifters must be out for all of this. Maybe some more help will show up or try the OS site. MAX H.
