Lipo Receiver Batt, Spektrum Receiver and Servos?
I've just ordered 2 7.1V, 2100 MaH Lipo receiver batteries to power 2 Spektrum AR 6200 Receiver setups in both a Phoenix Extra 300S and a Funtana X50. I know the receivers can handle the voltage just fine but the question I have is about the Servos. I'm using Futaba S3004s in one plane and JR 537s in the other. Is this too much voltage for these Servos to handle over time while going through this receiver?
Thanks in advance for any help.

You will need to run a voltage reg as the servos(you have) will not take the voltage of a charged 2 cell lipo. JR make High Voltage servos but you could build a plane for the cost of one servo at the moment.

Airtronics has some HV servos out for around $150.
Use a regulator. You can get some really nice ones at Tech-Aero.net. Feel free to email them (Ed) questions about why and how to use regulators and he will educate you. They are very high quality products, very light, and at a good price.

Thank you for the responses all. This is what I thought but wanted to verify. A voltage regulator it shall be! This place is, as always, a great resource.
