aileron servo wires?
just wondering how most people deal with servo wires for planes such as extras, caps and yaks etc where the winks separate from the fusolage?
I'm not too excited about plugging into the RX every time..
So does anyone have better ideas? I HATE having spagheti cables everywhere..
My fave idea is some mounted female connector thats in an open space where the aileron servo lead can easily and tidily be connected and disconnected..
ideas?photos?

RE: aileron servo wires?
People do some pretty fancy stuff like you mentioned.
I have a short servo extension that stays in the receiver, and it reaches to each side of the fuse (outside of the plane) at the wing tube. I plug the aileron servo wires into those when plugging in the plane.

Ya, I would say your best bet and what most people do is just get a servo Y harness. One end plugs into the receiver and then it "Y"s out to two female plugs that you can plug you aileron servos in. You would half to plug and unplug each of the aileron servos separately but it would keep you from having to plug anything directly into the receiver.

My #1 fave option i have in my head is... mounting a horizontal ply plate accross the inside of the fusolage and onto this ply, mounting 2 of the "external charging jacks"
HOWEVER they only have battery power.. no servo signal...

p.s.
Bollocks.. I didnt realise they were available as just the mounting system.. and i've JUST sent off an order to tower...............

I bought a bunch of 3" extensions. Everything except the 2 extensions are foamed and bundled under a tray. And yes, they are labeled . Don't ask.

i have 2 servos per aileron in some cases and just have short extensions coming from the receiver to plug into the aileron extensions. i'm rarely in a hurry so it doesn't bother me.

If I may, I have been looking into this my self and think there may be an answer in using persision electronics plugs or automotive style locking connectors. one plug for every thing - servos, lights, and possibly landing gear tubes. check them out at = www.digikey.com. also was looking in wire treys and zip ties to hold wires from breaking due to excessive vibration.
