RE: LiFe batteries Lithium iron phosphate ?
Thanks,
I did not realize they are the same thing as
A123 batteries. Darn marketing people.
Thanks again,

And that price actually seems pretty competitive. Usually I find Tower's pricing high on battery packs, but this seems to be in the ball park with most other vendors.
I have been trying to convince myself to go to A123's for my RX packs. I just need to decide which charger I want to go with.

mclina,
That's how I figured out they where one and the
same battery. I have a thunder power 610 charger
and wasn't sure it could charge LiFe (A123) bateries.
It can and it's been a great charger. Runs off of 12 volts
is the only draw back. Someday i'll break down and buy
power supply.

As far as that battery goes, its fully Charged voltage is 7.4volt so I would be very carefull about using it in any radio the is not a HV system with out a regulator. The 6.6 volt on the pack is the nom voltage where you should recharge the pack. Spectrum is a 9.6 volt reciver but you would still need HV servos.
