Default will it be to heavy

Hi all
What do you guys think about a 28cc MDL gas engine on a 90-120 size yak 54? I went to fly some aerobatics and 3D, will this engine be to heavy for this plane?
Thanks for the info, I need all the help I can get.

I think it will work ok. I have an SPE 26 on a Seagull Yak 90 and it flies good. Might be a little heavy for 3D though.

You can look up the weight of the engine/ignition on there web site then figure in the muffler/switch/battery/prop and spinner for the total weight. Some of the ARF manufactures give there weight of there planes then you can factor in the servos/controls/switch/fuel tank and battery to get you close to the total weight of the completed plane.
