Default BUSA Sopwith Pup and G38

I am building the 1/4 scale Balsa USA Sopwith Pup, I was planning on using a Zenoah G38. Here is my problem, with the rear exhaust the engine is to long by about a 1 1/2 inches. Has anyone used a G38 with this plane and if so how did you mount it? pictures would be great. Normally I would cut some of the firewall away at the bottom to make room, but the landing gear block is in the way.

Any ideas would be great.

Hi lazyace, I'm not using the bell mount,I was going to drill a hole for the shaft and mount it to the firewall. The muffler will be the problem, it's a rear exhaust.
