Default Castle Receiver/ Hitec Transmitter

I'm trying to figure out how to sync my Hitec Flash 5 transmitter with my 4 channel castle receiver. I am trying to use the receiver in a electriclfy L-39. RIght now I have the transmitter set on mode 2 but I havnt been able to get it to work with the receiver.

Default RE: Castle Receiver/ Hitec Transmitter

Mode 2 only means the stick position assignment.

I beleve th Flash five does not have modulation shift selectability. I know nothing about castle but to to work with the Flash five the Rx must be FM(PPM) negative modulation shift, It however does not matter if the Rx is dual or single conversion.

Also the Rx must have a crystal of the same channel number and it must be of the proper conversion type to match the Rx.
