Default JR 11X?

I have used the 9303 for years now the fm and the 2.4 and love the TX. Well i have a birthday fast approaching and my wife wants to know what i would like.

I am considering a request for the JR 11x, but i would like to know can you use the Datasafe program to transfer models from the jr 9303 to the 11X?

I don't know about your exact application but when I bought my 10X after they first came out I wanted to use the Data Safe to transfer data from my old 8103 into the 10X and found out that to transfer data it HAD to be from identical systems i.e. 8103 to 8103 or 10X to 10X. I ended up going thru the programing on my old radio and writing down the values and then imputing them into my new 10X. Kinda made me wonder what the heck was the Data Safe good for.

I did a number to number transfer for all the reverse, travel, sub trim and device select settings and they worked perfectly.

11X does some things differently so depending on what kind of aircraft you're going to want to play around anyways.

Make sure its got the latest firmware when you get it (0102) if you fly vtails or helis.

Not using the JR Data Safe. But sure they can be transferred manually, one item at a time.
I did this when I got the new 10X a few years back I tried to use the Data Safe to transfer the data from my old 8083 and ended up doing it manually. On a happier note the actual number values seemed to hold true from one system to the other.

Well I put my planes on the new 11x. I know people are going to cringe but I put the ratchet thing back on the throttle. I must say it feels good in your hands and is very very easy to setup. I have to admit I like it a lot but I not to thrilled on the way it looks. I think I will live. The good old 2.4 9303 has been cleaned up; battery has been removed and placed in the box in storage.
