Default 15% nitro fuel

Bought 5 gals of fuel in gal jugs. Was told it was 15% nitro fuel.... pretty sure its less then 15%. Does anyone know of a simple test (the key words here is simple) that can determine the % of nitro in the fuel. Thanks

Fuel from hobby shops or dealers have it printed on the lable. Perhaps one of the old drag racers may know of a way to test it. Is it a brand name or a home brew??

Get a tach, run some fuel you know is 15% and compare RPM with your fuel without changing anything else. If you are within 100, you're good. But even some commercial fuels use weight instead of volume. Their 15% by weight is around 12-13% by volume.

That wont really tell you anything, different fuels contain different oil percentages so that would change the needle requirements and power output.
