I have many Turnigy ESC's up to 40 amp. and they work perfectly. Don't have experience with larger ones, but the brand seems OK.

I purchased the Turnigy Super Brain 80 a esc and after waiting 3 weeks for its arrival put it in a Sebart angel. Along with purchasing the Brain I also got the usb interface and programming card. Starting to test it at home before commiting it to flight, I discovered that after a short time of running (10 to 15 sec) the motor went low speed. It acted as though the fail safe on the receiver had shut it down. After swapping everything to trouble shoot the problem I determined that it was the Super Brain that was causing the problem. I sent the ESC back to Hobby King for a replacement. They have had for over a month after the 3 weeks that it took for the ESC to get back to China. They say that they can't give me a replacement or store credit until there supplier evaluates the ESC and gives them the ok to replace it. I don't recommend the Turnigy Super Brain or Hobby King as they don't support the customer or their product.

That's pretty standard from Hobby King from what I've heard. If you want service, you pay for it. If you want a cheap price, they are the best and their stuff is usually good.
