Default parkzone wild cat

Hi Guys, I wonder if you can help please?. Ive just bought a parkzone wildcat and cant get it to balance. I have a 2200 lipo installed , the instruction call for a 1300 up to a 2200. When I try to balance the model after adding a small amount of weight to the tail, I can get it to stay in the horizontal for a second or two before it will drop either nose down or tail down. I cant figure out if its tail heavy or nose heavy. If I remove the weight from the tail it will go hard nose down, but I cant fine tune the balance. I have tried having the model upright and also inverted with the same result. Any help will be greatly appreiated. Thanks in advance. Bill.

Your excellent description causes me to believe that your plane is perfectly balanced. Fly it.

If the model is the F4F Wildcat then that would explain the difficulty in balancing. The Wildcat was a true mid wing aircraft and this make balancing much more of a challange simply because the midwing does not have added static stability like a low wing would balancing inverted or a high wing being balanced upright.

Many of the midwing sport aerobatic types also a bit more persnickety on the balance stand. I agree with Villa it sounds like you close enough with the lead installed.
