fuel proof products?

Default fuel proof products?

Hi I was wondering what the best product to use for fuel proofing engine bays etc..?

Thinned epoxy, polyurethane enamels, aircraft dope, to name a few.

The best stuff I have used is Zpoxy Finishing Resin. Mix it just like regular epoxy and it is thin and easy to brush on. It takes several hours to set up so you can take your time. It is odorless and fuel resistant.
Butyrate dope works good if you can handle the smell.

If you want to color the engine compartment to match or contrast the plane I use Magic Marker ,let it dry & then coat it with whatever you want . Epoxy don't like to set up very good over colored dope. Max H. AMA 14958

or straight eopxy and hit it with a heat gun. It will flow like water.
