Default futaba dsc

hi all.
can ch9 on a 9ch futaba rx be used for a smoke pump or is it only for dsc and non transmitting.

More than likely it is an on/off channel... IOW, not proportional, but suitable for a smoke pump switch.

Its a non-proprotional switch that can be used only in PCM mode.

No mixing to or from. About the only thing you can do is reverse it.

Thats correct. its basically an on/off switch for some device like flaps or retracts or a smoke pupm that operates in an on/off mode.
