Default Do I need to use CA with carbon fiber strip?

Hello,
I'm getting ready to glue the sheeting to the stick framework of the Horizontal stab. on a Midwest Citabria. The unsheeted framework is very flexible and although I know the sheeting will make it less flexible, I was thinking of adding a 1/4" strip of carbon fiber between the frame and the sheeting. I am planning to use wood glue to attach the sheeting, but was not sure if wood glue is appropriate for carbon fiber. Will this add stiffness, or do I need to use CA or even epoxy to do the job?
Thanks,
...Steve

Carbon fiber is so much stronger than wood that any glue that holds it to the wood works as long as it does that job adequately.

Hawkeye,
I built two Midwest Extra 300S kits, and an Ohio RC 10-300 Ultimate, they all used the same flimsy truss/sheeted design I used 4-40 wire braces to stiffen up the tail section, adding the CF will help but it will still flex a lot, the wire bracing makes the horizontal much more solid while stiffing up the Vertical at the same time. If you're going to brace it (which I recommend) the CF is overkill

good luck

p.s.

I've had my Midwest Citabria for years and never reinforced it at all and it's fine. It won't hurt and as stated above any glue should be fine . I think like Scale only 4 me said the CF ( especially 1/4 " ) might be a little overkill. You should like the Citabria, it's a nice scale like aerobatic plane, not 3d just nice smooth aerobatics. I even have another kit in the box. ENJOY !!! RED
