Default RADIO INTERFERENCE

Hello, Does anyone know if using magnets as an added hold down for a COWL will cause radio interference?
Radio is a 12c fasst, and the engine is gas. Thank You to all.

I have several that incorperate magnets on cowl without any problem whatsoever. Of course I use Jr Spectrum so cannot vouch for Futaba, but doubt there would be any difference.

Would have to be a pretty powerful magnet to absorb radio waves.

I believe they are called "black holes".

IF it does not affect JRspektrum then nothing will be affected

Most vibration or any harmonics from a gas engine turning under 8,000 rpm will be well below the 2.4gHz that might effect the receiver. And with the frequency hopping of the FASST System even less likely. Just speaking of the magnets, that is.

With a gas engine the danger of the spark interference "jumping" along a metal throttle or choke control rod or being picked up inductively from a servo within 10" of the spark module or plug is always there.
