need help with airplane lid?

can anyoine help me?

i have an rc guys super decathlon, almost done buiklding it.

i have read where it is diffiucult to put wing bolts on, since the top window is glued in place.

what i did was not glue it in place,
instead, i have placed two dubro hinges forward on it.

i need help from someone who can suggest a latch or closing mechanism for this, without a magnet
and without using small little screws.

needs to be something that i can lock easily in airfield.<br type="_moz" />

This might be a good place for the body clips the kids use on R/C cars. I have seen guys use them to hold engine access panels in place.

here it is, all i need to do now is buy those pins, and i will be set.

You could also put a small detent notch on the former between those two dowels. Then fashion a captive small bolt with a tab on the inside and a small spring from a pen to provide tension. The spring would be between the top ot the hatch and the head of the bolt and the tab would be at the end of the bolt on the inside of the fuse. With a small turn of the bolt the tab will rotate and find positive lock in the detent on the former; pushing down on the bolt lightly to compress the spring for tenstion.
