Oklahoma Flying?

I am in the Lawton area and wanted to get back into flying but am having trouble finding a hobby store or a place to fly. Anyone in the area that flys?
Thanks

skyking424,
Yes, I live here in Lawton. PM me for my phone number and we'll get together. We fly on Ft. Sill. Unfortunately there are no hobby shops here in Lawton, you have to go to OKC or Wichita Falls for a LHS.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Actually, we just have a different type of flying. The wind is 40-50 mph with gusts to 60-65 mph. I just tie a string to my planes and I'm going to fly them like a kite!!!! :D:D

yeah the wind here is nuts lately. in okc the hobby stores are Mikes Models on N May north of tenth street, Mikes Hobbies and RC on South OK 74th and May Next to the Grocery Store(sells more in the way of RC heli stuff), Realm of Hobbies in Moore on tower road (get off on 19th street go east take a left on the third stop light after you get over the highway*) and Hobby store in norman is on main just past 24th in the Shopping center next to Hastings. those are the ones i usually visit. i go to realm of hobbies most of the time because its 2 miles from my house.

* construction is going on so you need to get off on 4th street go east and after you get over the train tracks look for an eye glass place on the right and the street there take a right and go straight down till you get down to the construction and it will be on the right.

If you ever get a chance fly one. www.masportaviator.com under flight line kit reviews on the menu. ENJOY !!! RED

You guys can look too!!!! [8D] IT'S a Great wind flier !!!
