Saito 120 and 10mm shaft
I have a Saito 120 mounted on my Skybolt and am ready to get her in the air this spring. The crankshaft on this beast is 10mm(I think) and I can't find a prop reamer big enough. All my drill bits are standard and I'm afraid to use a drill anyway due to balance issues. Is there a reamer out there anywhere for the larger diameter shafts? What do all you guys who fly the big gassers do? Thanks, Steve.

RE: Saito 120 and 10mm shaft
I have the same engine. Great Planes makes a 10mm reamer and its very high quality. Just make sure to keep it oiled when stored. I spray WD-40 in the plastic container it's kept in. I use a drill press for accuracy. I also use a 25/64 drill bit to drill the hole first then ream the last bit out with the 10mm reamer, using the drill press of course.
