Aileron setup for Dazzler/uproar types

1 Attachment(s)
Hello

Should the ailerons on the dazzler/uproar be aligned with the top of the wing; the bottom of the wing or somewhere in between? I have a couple dozen flights on the dazzler, initial flights the ailerons were set to follow the top of the wing which had the ailerons drooping just a little. I figured this might be too much drag so I reset the ailerons inline with the bottom of the wing. I didn't notice much difference. What is the correct way to set the ailerons?

Thanks
EJ

RE: Aileron setup for Dazzler/uproar types

my uproar's ailerons was set to the wing chord line. from the center of the LE radius to the center of the TE a line exists that continues back through the center of the ailerons.

or at least that's how i had mine set up and only needed 3 or 4 clicks trim.

hope this helps and i know you'll LOVE the plane. i traded mine and it ended up with a broke fuse after only 3 flights from the new owner.......he chalked it up to "wind"..... no one else had a problem with the "wind" that day!!! LOL

but man.......that plane would roll so fast you couldn't count.......just had to release the stick and where ever it was, you adjusted from there. i'm planning on a .60 size kit in the future. just didn't like the wings not coming off the .40 size.....ran into transporting issues.

Same here-set them to wing chord and it should fly fine-on my 3rd one right now-fun plane-built one 40 size with detachable wings, but it met its demise due to pilot error. OS 46 FX with Tower muffler and APC 11/6 prop-have fun
