Where can I get one???
Does anyone know where I can find/purchase one of those old planes on a wire that fly around in circles? I know it's not rc, but I am certain someone must know.

It is called control line. Best source for C/L stuff is www.brodak.com I don't think there are any of the plastic, ready to fly, models stilll being marketed. They did not fly worth a hoot anyhow.
See also the control line forum on this site. Chuck |

Chuck,
The old Cox PT-19 is still in production. Estes owns the Cox Line of products. They also make a stunter called the Hyper Viper. I bought one as soon as they were released. It will fly the entire AMA pattern! It's like the old Super Stunters with a modern appearance. Heres their web site: http://www.coxmodels.com/products.asp?dept=85 Bratco also brought back the 1950's Skybaby: http://www.bratco.com/products.htm Doug |
