Covering Obechi

I want to use an iron-on covering to finish the obechi sheeted foam wings on my latest project.

What is the best way to get the obechi smooth prior to covering?

Do you use a sanding sealer or WBP to fill the grain before covering? Do these materials cause the iron-on finish to bubble?

If you get no response here, try the sailplane forums. I believe they use obechi alot_bob
