Receiver / Servo Questions

I was about to order a few Hitec HS-475HB for one of my planes. Unfortunately they are on back order with their vender.

The receiver being used is a Hitec Supreme IIS 8ch FM DC Univ. The servos were going to be used on the ailerons.

(1) Will Futaba or Jrsport servos (or perhaps others) function corretly with my receiver?

(2) What servo would be a good alternative to the Hitec HS-475HB.

(1) yes, 99 percent of the servos out there, with very few exceptions are compatable. The exeptions are some older Airtronics stuff.

(2) anything in the same speed and torque range will work.

Order hitec 425 bb servos from Great Hobbies,or check out their site. Ordering from USA has brutal shipping costs.

HS635HB has Karbonite gears, slightly more torque, faster speed, costs $30 at servocity
