thrust line

I have a new 40 size ARF and the pre-drilled holes with blind nuts glued in, for the engine mounts. But they are rotated 90 degrees from what the plan and pics. show. I thought I would rotate the engine 90 degrees. But I am not sure how the check and see if the engine is still on the proper thrust line for the plane. Does it line up with the horz. stab or the center line of the fuselage.???
I should add , its a high wing plane to be used as a trainer , easy fly plane. I am putting a .40 engine on it.
thanks

RE: thrust line

The set up of most of the sticks that I know are with the engine at 90o. You only have to put in place the engine mount and bolt your engine, they usually come with right thrust and depending of the brand with a bit of down or up thrust. Do not bolt your engine with the head up as this set up could lead to a fuel problem (carburetos to high-tank to low). A couple pictures will help to figure it out, could you post them?

Hi,
its not a real big deal, I was just wondering if the engine should be lined up with the center of the body of the plane. You might be right they may have changed it due to a fuel problem. I have not got into putting pic's on yet.
thanks
