help with ASP .46 nitro
 
i have a ASP .46 nitro 2stroke and i was wondering if anybody knew the factory settings for the carb?

One of the best "user-friendly" engines, I ever owned was an Asp. 46. Like any of the 2 stroke glow engines, don't worry about factory settings. Very simply, hook up some fuel line to the carb. Starting with the needle fully closed, and the carb fully open, blow through the line. Open the needle until the air easily passes through. Start the engine and if it is "lean" then open some more until that "rich" sound prevails. If too lean, close the NV until it begans to lean out.
You will find the settings after you do some break-in time and these will change a bit with changes in temp., pressure altitude, prop load, and the fuel you use. Good luck.
