Dave Platt FW-190 Kit - What's it worth?

Noob here to RC planes....I'm more of an RC Tank guy![)]

Anyways, I have inherited a Dave Platt 1:5.2 scale RC FW-190 kit and I'm just wondering what it would be worth? I don't have the skills to do the kit justice, so I'd like it to go to someone who does.

Here's some pix:

It appears to be new and complete. It's a RC-3 kit, according to the label. I've tried researching Dave's site, but this particular kit isn't listed, only the RC-1 kit.
I will be posting an ad in the Marketplace shortly but I have no idea of an asking price....I was thinking $200....fair?

Thanks in advance for feedback.

$200.00 Is more than fair! They routinely sell for $220.00-$295.00 on FleaBay:D

How do I know? I have sold 3 of them on eBay over the past two years.[8D]

That kit was probably produced in the late 70's to early 80's. You won't find it on Dave Platt's current website because he sold off the rights to the early line of kits like that and Pica then produced them. Dave moved on to bigger and better things, namely producing his 1/5th scale planes and accessories. At least, that's how I remember it.

A friend of mine built one of those back in 1976 when I first got involved in R/C. It has good moments and flys quite well for a .60 sized plane. The Dora has some very interesting paint schemes too. If I didn't have so many kits right now, I'd make you an offer myself but if I get one more, my wife said she'd bury it with me. Just kidding but you get the point I'm sure.
