Shim?
I need a .030 shim to mount under my motor for a bit of up thurst. What do I use? Where can I get a shim?

I can't remember if it's Goldberg or Sterling that used to, or still may sell a package of 1-2 and 3° shims. If all else fails and as a last resort, you can use washers or get some hard plastic and kind of taper it yourself. If you have no luck, I can get you a picture of the package_bob

Ernst makes packages of 1, 2, & 3 degree "engine mount thrust plates" as they call them. Made for various engine sizes and fit between the mount and the firewall. The only ones I have on hand now are 40 size and its part number 103, cost was $2.29.
