CG Ultimate 10-300
Just got this and it has flimsy wire gear, what kind of gear should I get and whre? I've seen pics of it with regular gear and not wire, if so, how do you mount the gear in the plane? thanks

On mine (the kit....not the ARF), I just bought a piece of cheap 1/8" x 2" aluminum from the home center and made one. It works fine unless you really smack it down. But I guess that goes for any of them. You can get 6061-T6 aluminum from McMaster Carr (or a variety of other places) which will be stiffer than the home center variety. I just replaced the grooved landing gear block with a piece of 1/4" ply. I think that I made it a little wider than the original and attached the gear with blind nuts and screws.
