Slimline muffler installation

I have a Slimline inverted pitts muffler for my Saito 150 but no instructions. Can someone tell me how to install the muffler? In particular, what do I do with the bracket (?) that appears to connect at the opposite end of the muffler

Thanks

You're probably expected to attach it to something sturdy in the plane. You make that with a block of wood you glue to the firewall, or you might be able to attach directly to the firewall. If you're lucky.

4stroke mufflers are long things that benefit greatly from support on both ends. They naturally got support on the engine end.

I have one on a YS and have the support going to the motor mount. In my case it was easy to make up a bracket with just a twist and bend then drill and tap the mount for it.
