CA Hinges vs Nylon Hinges

I recently had a little bit of a hard landing with my 90 size Funtana and popped the CA hinges out of the rudder. I'm a bit concerned to repair it with new CA hinges because the existing area that the old CA hinges were is already soaked and hardened with old CA. I was planning on expoxying in nylon hinges for the repair job. Does anyone have any thoughts on the do's and don'ts of a job like this? I've only used nylon hinges one other time and got along OK with it (slicing the slot a little bigger, scratched up the hinge a little more before insertion for a better bite with the epoxy, smeared vaseline in the hinge part so as not to get any epoxy in it, etc.). Thanks for any advice!

See other thread nearby on pinning hinges.

BTW I rest my case.
