RE: E-Yak 54
Sorry I thought of another question.
I fly Sailplanes almost exclusively now, but I am getting this to get back into 3D. I fly a JR 9303 radio and I wondered if there were any programming tips for mixes and the like that you may have a link to so I could read up on some stuff.
Thanks again in advance for any help you can give.

RE: E-Yak 54
Tom,
For the E-Yak I would just fly it with not being much concern about the mixes. On the other hand after some flights it may not be a bad idea for the sake of experiment that you start playing with radio mixes like KE. Again on the E-Yak it's doesn't show the precision one required to do mixing on it. It is a great 3D performer for most that are just wanting to try out new things.
Regards,
Reza

RE: E-Yak 54
Happy birth day in advance. Mine is March 4th Battery 1320 3-cell and servos I don't actually remember what Quique used, please take a look at the manual online (www.qqaircraft.com) I know it was set up with JR servos but you can also get by with HS-55 Hitec.

Hi Liberator,
My birthday is March 5 too but I bet I'll have my birthday before you... lol. It's that time zone thing.
Have a great day on the 5th!
Cheers
Jason.

RE: E-Yak 54
Hi guys,
I would have posted sooner but I have been tearing up the sky with this little plane.
It is not a solid plane meaning it is built very light, but it is pretty darn strong, and is a total gas to fly...for an electric.
I also think the price of the ESC and the motor are worth the price they are charging for everything including the plane.
Monster value and a huge chunk of fun.
Get one today!!!!

RE: E-Yak 54
So now the rest of the story.
Our club was invited to participate in a science fair that the local news people were covering. The reporter came over to the display and saw my E-Yak and asked if I would fly it on camera.
So I launch it, take it straight up, roll a few times and then the motor dies, the planes arcs over and spirals into the ground smashing everything in front of the wing.
All of this on live TV.[X(]
The battery lead came out of the plug.
So, at least it went down in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
If you can't be famous, be infamous I guess.
