Yes, it is ready. On the Greeve pipes performance, I have never used one yet but I will be building the 120 with them soon, however Quique loves it! He says its the best. I trust him

We just built the production model with Greeve pipes, 13 servos, Spinner, batteries, matchboxes and etc no smoke pump at 41 4oz.

I the comparision list on QQ web site, they say they used 11 servos. How come you used 14 and on the composite yak he used 14 servos?
Thank you,
Jim

Jim,
At the time 8711s were not available! With 8711 you only need one per half elevator. 3 for rudder. Aileron can still use 3 of either 8611a or 8711 each side.
Thank you,
Reza

RE: 120" Yak questions
Craig,
Yes, I have posted those pics but I will post them again. We have a very few, I mean very few ARC. No white version. If you want an ARC, you really need to grab it before it's gone!
Thank you,
Reza

RE: 120" Yak questions
I'm planning on picking one of these up very soon. I'm planning on using a 3W 170 CS. I havn't desided on exhaust yet. I'm planning on using 3 8611's per AIL, 3 8611's on RUD and 1 8711 on each ELE half. the reason I'm using 8611's is that I already have them. My question is do you think I could get away with 2 8711's on the AIL and or 2 8711 on the RUD? or should I just stick with my 8611 plan?

RE: 120" Yak questions
Hello Eric,
I have not flown this plane. I would think you would experience some blow back with 2(8711) servos per wing. Please email Quique at [email protected] for any specific question on the 120". I don't want to mis-guide you guys. He would be the best source to answer those questions.
As far as manual, it will be online soon.
Good Luck,
Reza

RE: 120" Yak questions
Reza,
I am in the process of getting all the new required equipment together. I have my plane and I see that Greeve pipes are suggested. I also see that MTW 110 cannister can be used. I have a new set of the MTW's and the mounting holes seem to be too large. I see that MTW makes a cannister that is 80mm in dia. Is this what this was setup for ?
I am new to setting up pipes or cannisters. I want a good solid smooth throttle transition. What should I be looking for with the pipe setup ?
Also, I will be using Futaba new 9156 servos when the come out. Will these be enough for the El. they are rated at 340 ozs? I will be using 3 of Ail, 4 on rudder. I spoke with Wayne and it was like he was not sure on these questions. Maybe you can shed some light here.
Thanks for any help.

RE: 120" Yak questions
Hi Joe,
Quique is the only person who can give you accurate info on 120". I never set up one and nor Wayne. QQ has been involved with it for the last 5 years or so. Mu understanding is you are marginal on elevator with small arms and IMAC type you should be fine but if you are thinking about poping the plane into a wall at a speed you may experience blow back.
As far as cans and set up, I would recommend the Greeves pipes. They are smooth and add more power. I can't help you with other questions. I will forward this to Quique. Once I hear back, I will let you know.
Thank you for being patient,
Reza

Joe,
Email Ivan Kristensen, he has 9156 servos in his. I know it was 3 per aileron, I think he had 4 on rudder, I didn't see the bottom of the elevator. goto www.ivankristensen.com to contact him.
