120"Yak Canopy knocking
Reza,I love my Yak,but keep getting airframe noise from front of canopy mount the carbon pins won't stay tight through 2 flights,wondering if qq might have found a fix?I guess the engine box is so lightened it shakes the piss out of the canopy.Man what a sweet flying bird!

These stopped any movement of my canopy, I got them from Probuilt models in the UK, I am afraid I don't know where you would source them in the US, but just an idea.

Just remembered that I do have a few pics that I took.
Here you can see the bushing that I mentioned in the PM. They are cut to only be as thick as the bulkhead. The cowling mounting ring keeps them from pushing out when putting on the hatch. The hole in the bulkhead was drilled to be a snug fit on the bushing. worked out well for me.

Sounds like a good idea.I noticed at nall qq had to trim his cowl,where damaged hatch,wonder how he keeps his from knocking?Thanks joe
