Sunday, July 30th - - Sun Up till Sun Down.[/size]

HoustonHeli.com and South Houston Area Remote Control Society (SHARCS) are proud to announce the 2nd “Houston Heli Round-Up” (H2RU).

We will enjoy one (1) day of flying, meeting old heli friends, and having a good time. This is a one-day unofficial gathering so don’t expect much other than a convergence of an expected SIXTY (60) PILOTS or more!!! You won’t want to miss this even if you do not wish to fly. So please come on out either way and see what is going on.


If there is enough participants there will be some impromptu events like:
1) ClubMan 3D Shoot-Out - Spectators and pilots will get to vote as to who the top dawg is in laying down the most impressive 5 minute free-style flight routine. Anyone can enter, only one pilot can be called the "Top Dawg".

2) Inverted Grass Mower - Who can perform the most impressive grass cut'n at Da Bass? All you need is some low inverted hovering skills and a few extra spare parts just in case. :)

3) Auto Rotation Contest - Spot Auto contest to see who can "hit the mark" and rack up the most points?

**** Events start at 1:00 PM on the North Flightline!

Bring the following:
1) A current AMA License if you wish to fly (No Flying without a current valid A.M.A license)
2) If tables get filled up you might need a chair, table, and a pop-up canopy.
3) A lot of water because it's going to be hot I'm sure!
