Default C.R. Fowler

Hello Everyone,

I just got word this afternoon that our friend and fellow skydiver C.R. Fowler passed away this morning.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of loss.

I am sorry that we have lost one and helpful

goldenknight I had the good fortune to be able to talk with CR on many occasion when I first started using the ram canopy, I was given the the opportunity to talk with another ell known rc skydiver that CR had given me, it was wally gitchell who had designed a ram foil chute. All I can say is thru the effort of these two Gentlemen WE have come a long way in what we now use. I am sad that we have lostsome real friends, may say mine thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Only saw this today!! Sad news indeed!! As you guys said above, he was an all round nice guy and gentleman, always willing to help! I bought my first chute from him as well, that was 12 years ago, I think he enabled many of us to get into RC Skydiving!!

I will never forget, I had to phone him from South Africa and with the huge time difference between the countries he said to me, "Don't worry about waking me up, its only 3 o'clock in the morning here in Kentucky, I don't mind, I'm old an retired, I can just go right back to sleep and sleep all day if I want to, you did not disturb me at all!!"

R.I.P my thoughts are with his friends and family
